Windows 8 is fresh entry by microsoft with something added and something omited but whatever critics say we can say 'every new version of windows is better than previos one ' (except vista of course) .But still win 8 is new thing with its metro ui which some people may find difficult to use So here are some tips for better user experience in this new world.




#1 Press the Windows key to enter the tiled Start screen.Pressing it again would return you to more familier desktop environment, which is mostly same as previous versions.
#2 The Windows key + E opens
Explorer for quick access to
folders and files.
#3  While multitasking windows key + Tab opens a list
of currently running programs from which you can choose desired option.
#4 The Windows key + Q opens a
global search menu.Where you can type what you're looking for and where you would like to look.
#5 Windows key + Pause will open
the system properties page to show
you a quick rundown of your system information like os version, Ram, CPU etc
#6 The Windows key + I opens the
settings menu, giving you quick
access to the Control Panel,
Personalization, and your Power
button, among other features.
#7 The Windows key + X will open the Quick Access Menu, showing
system functionality such as the
Command Prompt, Disk Management, File Explorer, Run,
and more. Alternatively, you can
right-click on the bottom right
corner of the screen to spawn the
Quick Access Menu.
#8 The Windows key + R prompts the Run command which is useful for quickly launching apps and other things with a command prompt.
#9 The Windows key + "." (the period) snaps a window to the right or left side (toggling each time you press ".").This is benificial if you have multiple windows opened.
